description: Second in the series of three "Three Graces" (which may be destined to become Nine Muses), Midnight in the Garden arose when I got a request to exhibit Embrace during a period where it was already committed elsewhere. I had never made a second version of anything before, and was pleasurably enticed by the challenge. It remains true, of course, that you never step in the same river twice.
